Tsuen Wan Town Hall|Tsuen Wan Town Hall Venue Partnership Scheme : "JITN-Laura Fygi & The Legacy Band" by Jazz World & Count-In Music

Description
The first Dutch singer to appear on the US Billboard, Laura Fygi, is coming to Hong Kong for a performance!
Laura Fygi is like a singing poet, with stories of time hidden in her voice – gentle yet powerful. Whether it is classic jazz standards or popular hits from the Chinese music scene, Laura Fygi always finds new ways to reinvent them, skillfully blending Eastern and Western music. For example, in the album "The Best Is Yet To Come" released in 2011, she adapted "Rose, Rose, I Love You" into a Latin jazz style, and the cheerful rhythm made people sway along; the Asian album "Flower" released in 2012 included a series of original Chinese songs and classic Chinese songs. She rearranged classic Chinese songs such as "The Moon Represents My Heart" and "There’s Only You in My Heart, Not Him" into jazz versions, creating a laid-back and lazy vibe.
Over the years, Laura Fygi has left a deep footprint on the global music scene with her unique voice and cross-cultural musical vision, and remains a highly respected artist on the international music stage. Not only does she pay tribute to Chinese classics with her songs, but she also gives these works new vitality through constant exploration. In this Hong Kong concert, she will once again perform many Chinese golden songs, from classic old songs to contemporary pop masterpieces, taking you to travel between nostalgia and modernity and witnessing the deep collision of Eastern and Western music cultures.
